THE OUTDOOR CHANNEL ADDS GUNSITE ACADEMY
NEW HUNTING SHOWS FOR 2001
December 26, 2000

TEMECULA, Calif. - Management of The Outdoor Channel, Inc. announced the acquisition of national broadcast rights to Gunsite Academy and several new
hunting programs to begin January 2001.

Filmed on location at the Gunsite Academy, this weekly program highlights all aspects of recreational and competitive shooting. Gunsite Academy - founded by world renowned shooting expert Col. Jeff Cooper - is located in Paulden, Arizona and boasts over twenty years experience providing quality instruction to responsible firearms owners.

Outdoor Channel Vice President Wade Sherman said, "There is a void of quality, serious shooting programs on television today. There are  just too many people in the TV industry that perceives shooting to be  politically incorrect. The Outdoor Channel embraces the shooting sports, and believes that Gunsite Academy will help inform and entertain shooting enthusiasts on all levels."

The Outdoor Channel will also be adding several new hunting titles beginning
in January. The new programs include Primos' Truth About Hunting; Bushnell's Secrets of the Hunt; Hunting Lease Magazine; Bill Rock's Outdoor USA; Outdoor Video Magazine and Outdoor World of Kastaway Kulis.

In addition, The Outdoor Channel will debut 4X4 Television, a program for
the four-wheel drive enthusiast along with four new fishing titles - Midwest Bass Fishin'; Kingmasters; Reel Results and Picasso's Sport Fishing the World.

Based in Temecula, CA, The Outdoor Channel is a national cable network, dedicated to providing the best in traditional outdoor programming to American viewers.
