SIG-Sauer P245 - New SIG Compact in .45 ACP
Greetings SIG Fans! SIG Arms of Exeter New Hampshire, officially announced the newest SIG
Arms product, the SIG-Sauer P245. The SIG P245 is now widely available on the US
market. The P245 is basically a cut down P220. It is
a single stack .45 that is thin and very concealable for those wanting the power of a .45
ACP in a back up or deep concealment handgun.
The P245 is a semi-automatic pistol that has it all: all of the proven performance and
reliability of the SIG Classic line, all of the .45 stopping power that you will ever
need, and all in a compact, lightweight design that conceals easily in a holster, pocket,
pant leg or purse.
The P245 Compact is an ideal personal protection handgun that is also the choice of law
enforcement professionals, both uniformed and plain-clothes.
- The P245 comparable in size to the SIG P225.
- The P245 is 1/10 of an inch longer than the 225/228 and 3/10 of an inch less in height
of the 225. The width is the same as the 225 and 1/10 of an inch wider than the 239.
- Rolled and Pinned Steel Slide with SIG Aluminum Alloy Frame
- Action DA/SA with SIG Decocker. DAO option is available.
- SIG Patented 4 Point Safety System.
- Aluminum SIG frame with Standard Stainless Steel Lockup and SIG Breech Block.
- Capacity 6+1 .45 ACP rounds
- Standard SIG P220 7 - 8 & 10 round mags function flawlessly.
- Max Effective Range = 33 Meters
- Other Options; SIGLite™ Tritium Night Sights (made by Trijicon), Wood Grain Walnut
Grips, 8 Round Conversion Kit, Padded Floor Plates and two (2) different Cases, one in
standard SIG Plastic and a special SIG Wood Display or Presentation Case, DAO Only,
standard is DAO/SA.
